Retirement Benefits:

The Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Fund has a representative available to discuss your retirement options, review your contributions and answer general questions. Appointments are available once a month at the Local 439 Union Office in Stockton. To get information on the next appointment available, please send a detailed email by { clicking here }. Local 439 Life Insurance Benefit:

All active Local 439 members have in effect a $2,000 Life/ $4,000 Accidental Death Insurance Benefit. Please remember to keep your beneficiary designation up to date. In addition to this policy, many health benefit plans and retirement funds offer life insurance or other death benefits. Please check with your benefit booklet or call your retirement office directly.

Teamster shield Accident Insurance:

The first benefit is $10,000 in workplace Accidental Death Protection that covers you while on the job or while you're traveling to and form work. The second benefit is $2,000 in All Accident Protection that covers you at any time for any covered accidental death. There is no cost to you for these two benefits. Coverage is available to you for one full year.

This accident insurance plan is available to all Teamsters members, ages 18 - 69 and for up to $200,000 of additional coverage. You'll rest easy knowing that you are covered 24/7 in case of a serious or life threatening accident.

All teamsters members are eligible and guaranteed acceptance through age 69, regardless of health or occupation. There's no medical exam to take, and no proof of insurability required. When you reach age 70 or over, benefits are one-half of the amount stated.
