I became an active Teamster while working for UPS and have been a Teamster Representative for 14 years.  I represent our Teamsters at Stockton Scavenger, Loomis Armored Car, Wonder Bread, Earthgrains, San Francisco French Bread, Svenhards Bakery, Mother Cookies, Orowheat Baking Company, Cal Mills, Cal Cedar, Bright Now Dental in Stockton.  I am a member of the Northern California Negotiating Committee.  I work hard with the leadership of our Secretary-Treasurer Sam Rosas at Local 439 to improve the direction and maintain membership services. 

I negotiate labor contracts, secure, and ensure that the companies comply with existing labor contracts.  I identify and correct all violations. 

We have to inform each company that the only guidelines we have is to follow the contract, period.  After serving the members for 14 years, I feel this Union is under positive leadership with plenty of good energy to burn.  We are headed in a direction that this Local Union needed for years and that is to represent each and every member!
