File a grievance when the Company is in violation of the contract.  Please read and understand your contract and/or consult your shop steward or business representative.

You must recognize time limits. All grievances must be filed timely and in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between your employer and Local 439.

You must file in triplicate form (original to Local 439, copy to employer, and copy for member).

You must file your grievance form in the Local Union or hand-carry to your shop steward or union representative.

You can not file a grievance electronically at this time.
